  Akal Insurance gave me the worst possible brokerage services I have ever experienced, I will not be renewing under this brokerage. Please see the details below and judge for yourselves: After having moved from Brampton to Ancaster to combat the unbelievable auto insurance rates, I provided them with the address change and requested a quote for the updated policy. Having told me that it would take a week or two, they made me wait for a whole month and a half before I got in touch with them again to find out that I am now paying an additional 20 dollars each month for the rest of the term. When I asked them how this was possible, they stated that the provider's rates had gone up. When I asked them how much it would have been had I stayed in Brampton, they stated that it would have been an extra $200 more per month, or an extra $2400 on the total policy amount. When I expressed my shock and disappointment, they told me that they would provide a quote for another provider after a week. When I then told her that I was not renewing, she calls me 10 minutes later and provides me with a quote, right over the phone, and asks prying information about my occupation and company, due to wanting to find the best price for me. Extremely unprofessional! I have never been scammed my entire life, this is my first, and I now know how this truly feels like. Please do not trust this brokerage, they are looking for any reason to take your money.
