  Call me old school but when I go to a retail store and make a purchase of nearly $90 I expect to have bags available at no additional charge. To the best of my knowledge, there are no laws on the books forcing retailers to charge for plastic bag in Brampton. If Loblaws, Presidents Choice or in this case Shoppers Drug Mart, a fully owned subsidiary need to find new revenue streams, I would rather shop elsewhere than be cheated as a consumer. I left without making the purchase. Shoppers lost more than 15 cents on my abandoned shopping cart. I wonder what is going to happen when Amazon gets here! Sears was the original Mac Daddy on catalogue shopping - the earliest form of online shopping. They fell asleep at the wheel and the rest is history. Loblaws and its group of companies are so big and arrogant that they believe in the old paradigm that they can get away with this kind of abuse forever. I am not going to be abused anymore. I will be among the first to switch to Amazon /Whole Foods when they launch in Canada unless companies such as the above-mentioned change their attitude and start showing respect to their customers.
